3D Models
Photogrammetric 3D models and 3D visualizations from drone surveys. Measurement-accurate, georeferenced models to support design, documentation, and communication.
Measurement-Accurate 3D Models from Drone Surveys
We produce photogrammetry-based 3D models of sites, buildings, structures, and terrain. From overlapping aerial images, a precise, textured 3D model and point cloud are calculated — measurable, designable from, and communicable with. Georeferenced and delivered in open formats.
These are visual, measurable surface models — not information models (BIM). Excellent for documentation, measurement, visualization, and as-built comparisons. BIM information models for interior spaces are produced separately through BIM modeling.
Benefits of the Service
Measurement-Accurate, Textured Model. RTK accuracy and ground control points keep the model in the correct scale and coordinate system.
Clear 3D Visualization. A realistic three-dimensional model makes the site easy to understand for designers, decision-makers, and stakeholders.
Directly into Your Design Software. Delivered in common formats (LAS/LAZ, OBJ, DWG, DXF) in the correct coordinate and elevation system.
You Own Your Data. Delivered to your own systems with no lock-in.
What 3D Models Are Used For
- Design baseline data and measurements
- Visualization of property development and projects
- Documentation of buildings, structures, and terrain
- Comparing as-built to design
- Stakeholder communication and marketing
Who the Service Is For
Design Firms and Architects. Precise baseline data as a foundation for design.
Construction Companies and Contractors. Document structures three-dimensionally.
Property Developers. Illustrate projects to support sales and design.
Industry and Infrastructure Owners. Model facilities to support maintenance and planning.
Part of a Bigger Picture
BIM information models for interiors are produced through BIM modeling from 360° scanning. BIM verification reports deviations when comparing 3D data to the design model. 3D models use the same survey as orthophotos and construction site mapping.
What We Deliver
- Textured 3D model — photogrammetry-based (OBJ/mesh)
- Point cloud — high-resolution, georeferenced (LAS/LAZ)
- 3D visualizations — illustrations for communication
- CAD-compatible data — DWG, DXF
Frequently Asked Questions
How is a 3D model created? Through photogrammetry — overlapping aerial images processed into a textured 3D model and point cloud.
Are these BIM models? No. These are visual surface models. BIM information models are produced from interior scanning — see BIM modeling.
In which formats do you deliver the models? OBJ, LAS/LAZ, DWG, and DXF — compatible with design and geospatial systems.
Can measurements be taken from the model? Yes — georeferenced and to scale for distance, area, and volume measurements.
